Trump Responds To Author's Request For Help Accessing New Cancer Treatment

Scott Adams, the creator of the "Dilbert" comic strip, has successfully secured an appointment for a critical cancer treatment scheduled for tomorrow.

This development comes after Adams made a public appeal for assistance in obtaining a newly approved therapy. President Donald Trump swiftly responded to Adams' plea, which was shared on social media platform X, where Adams expressed his intention to seek the President's help in accessing a potentially life-extending treatment.

As reported by The Post Millennial, Adams, who is battling advanced prostate cancer, took to X to announce his plan to directly contact President Trump due to delays with his healthcare provider. "On Monday, I will ask President Trump, via X, to help save my life. He offered to help me if I needed it. I need it," Adams stated.

He further elaborated on his situation, saying, "As many of you know, I have metastasized prostate cancer. My healthcare provider, Kaiser of Northern California, has approved my application to receive a newly FDA-approved drug called Pluvicto. But they have dropped the ball in scheduling the brief IV to administer it and I cant seem to fix that. I am declining fast."

Adams expressed hope that the President could intervene to expedite the scheduling of his treatment, which he believes would provide him with a "fighting chance to stick around on this planet a little bit longer."

While acknowledging that the treatment is not a cure, Adams noted, "It is not a cure, but it does give good results to many people." President Trump promptly addressed the situation by sharing a screenshot of Adams' post on Truth Social, accompanied by the reassuring caption, "on it!"

Additionally, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. reached out to Adams on X, stating, "Scott. How do I reach you? The President wants to help."

This incident highlights the ongoing challenges within the healthcare system and underscores the importance of timely access to medical treatments.
