Heart-Pounding Pursuit In Texas: Smuggler Flees DPS As Migrants Fall From Moving Truck (Video)

Since President Trump resumed office in January, the border has witnessed a significant tightening of security measures.

However, the lingering issue of illegal aliens residing within the United States remains a pressing concern, a situation largely attributed to the policies of the Biden administration over the past four years.

As reported by Gateway Pundit, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has been commendable in its efforts to apprehend illegal immigrants at the federal level. Meanwhile, state law enforcement agencies, such as the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), are actively engaged in frontline operations to capture those entering the country unlawfully.

A recent incident in Webb County, Texas, exemplifies these efforts. Texas DPS officers pursued a pickup truck driven by Damian Cantu, a human smuggler, who was transporting numerous illegal aliens. After stopping to release his passengers, Cantu continued the high-speed chase before eventually fleeing on foot.

He was apprehended and charged with evading arrest and multiple counts of human smuggling. Cantu confessed to authorities that he received $250 per person for his smuggling activities. With the assistance of the Border Patrol, eight illegal aliens from Mexico and Guatemala were detained.

The mainstream media has been criticized for allegedly concealing the extent of the border crisis under Biden's tenure, during which an estimated 10 to 15 million illegal immigrants reportedly crossed into the United States. This influx is perceived by some as a deliberate strategy to overwhelm the nation with illegal entrants, a notion that explains the left's staunch opposition to deportation efforts.

Article IV, Section 4 of the United States Constitution explicitly mandates the federal government to protect the nation from invasion, a duty that critics argue was neglected during the Biden years.

The constitutional provision states, The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

With the return of President Trump, there is a renewed emphasis on upholding the rule of law and safeguarding the nation's borders. The collaborative efforts of federal and state agencies underscore a commitment to addressing the challenges posed by illegal immigration, ensuring that the United States remains a nation governed by its constitutional principles.
