Make-A-Wish Executive Steps Down After Threatening Dodgers Fan With ICE (Watch)

A recent incident at a championship baseball game has sparked significant attention after a military veteran captured a heated exchange on video, leading to serious repercussions for one of the individuals involved.

Ricardo Fosado, a veteran, attended Game 2 of the National League Championship Series at American Family Field, where a friendly rivalry with Milwaukee Brewers fans took a contentious turn.

As reported by The Blaze, the situation escalated when the Los Angeles Dodgers took a late lead, prompting Fosado to record himself cheering and playfully mocking the Brewers fans. During this exchange, a woman confronted him, criticizing his choice of drink and suggesting, "You know what, let's call ICE."

Fosado, undeterred, responded with humor, "Call ICE, call ICE. I'm a U.S. citizen, war veteran, baby girl! ... ICE is not gonna do nothing to me, good luck!" The confrontation intensified when the woman attempted to swipe at his phone, prompting an expletive-laden response from Fosado.

The video of this altercation quickly gained traction online, leading to the identification of the woman as Shannon Kobylarczyk. The fallout was swift; she resigned from her position as a board member of the Make-A-Wish Foundation in Milwaukee and lost her job as an attorney at Manpower Group.

The company stated, "As soon as we became aware of this video, the individual was placed on immediate leave, and we began an investigation. As a result of this process, the employee is no longer with the organization."

However, Fosado did not emerge unscathed from the incident. The Milwaukee Brewers issued a statement on Thursday, revealing that Fosado had been ejected from the game for "disorderly conduct and public intoxication." Both Fosado and Kobylarczyk were subsequently banned from the park, with the team emphasizing their commitment to a respectful and safe environment for all attendees.

"The Brewers expect all persons attending games to be respectful of each other, and we do not condone in any way offensive statements fans make to each other about race, gender, or national origin," the statement read.

While Kobylarczyk declined to comment on the matter, as reported by WISN-TV, the incident has sparked broader discussions about behavior at public events and the consequences of actions captured on social media. The Dodgers, meanwhile, emerged victorious in the game, advancing their lead in the series against the Brewers.

The outcome of this series will determine which team progresses to the World Series, adding another layer of intensity to an already charged atmosphere.
