Newt Gingrich Predicts A Red Wave: Americans Abandon The Insane Democratic Agenda

Newt Gingrich, the former House Speaker, has sharply criticized the Democratic Party, labeling it as the "party of weirdness."

In a conversation with Jesse Watters on Fox News, Gingrich asserted that the Democrats' increasingly left-leaning stance is prompting voters across the nation to gravitate towards the Republican Party.

"We're seeing this shift all across the country," Gingrich remarked on "Jesse Watters Primetime." He further elaborated, "Partly, they like Trump, but even more powerfully, they really are getting sick of the Democrats being a party of weirdness."

As reported by Fox News, Gingrich pointed to the Virginia attorney general's race as a case in point. The contest between Democrat Jay Jones and Republican incumbent Jason Miyares has garnered national attention due to resurfaced violent text messages from Jones, which fantasized about the murder of a Republican lawmaker and his children, whom he referred to as "fascist."

Despite some Democrats, like Virginia gubernatorial candidate Abigail Spanberger, condemning the messages, there has been criticism of the party's hesitance to demand Jones' withdrawal from the race. Gingrich commented, "That is a party which is sick," highlighting a broader reluctance to address Jones' candidacy.

Gingrich went on to suggest that the Democratic Party is no longer a cohesive entity but rather a fragmented coalition caught between disorder and rationality. "I don't think theres any such thing as the Democrats," he stated. "You have groups of left-wing cuckoos, and then you have a handful of rational people."

He argued that this division has left leaders like Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries "trapped in a Brooklyn bubble," unable to recognize the shifting sentiments of voters nationwide.
