Vice President Kamala Harris recently participated in an exclusive event titled "A Day of Unreasonable Conversation" held at the Getty Center in Los Angeles.
During her address, she made a controversial remark about President Trump and his Republican allies, stating, "these motherf*ckers are crazy."
An attendee at the event shared a clip of Harris's speech, in which she said, "There is so much about this moment that is trying to make people feel like theyve lost their minds, when, in fact, these mothafuckas are crazy." The attendee added, "Oh, Kamala Harris, you have charmed me."
According to The Post Millennial, Harris used the platform to guide the creative minds present at the event. She said, "We are living history right now, and you all storytellers are living this. You're not passive observers, you know that. You're living it, and I would ask you that all the emotions that we are feelinggive those emotions, give that experience to those people that you are writing about and writing for."
Harris continued, "It gets back to my point about helping people, just put a label on it, even if it doesn't change the circumstance. Because there is so much about this moment that is trying to make people feel like they've lost their minds, when in fact, these motherf*ckers are crazy!"
The crowd responded with cheers and applause, seemingly appreciating Harris's directive to incorporate politically charged, left-leaning messages into their creative work.
The "Day of Unreasonable Conversation" is an exclusive gathering aimed at equipping culture creators including television writers, artists, producers, executives, and digital storytellers for the year ahead. The event's organizers claim that it "brings together the most influential voices in entertainment with leading changemakers from across sectors to engage in honest, critical discourse on the most urgent issues of our time."
Prominent figures such as Karine Jean-Pierre, Hasan Piker, Mara Brock Akil, Kumail Nanjiani, and others also took the stage at the event. The gathering is designed to provide creative individuals with talking points and messaging to incorporate into their projects.
These messages are then disseminated to the public through various studios and publishers.
The event's organizers believe that "A Day of Unreasonable Conversation fosters meaningful connection between those shaping pop culture and those driving social change." They argue that narrative and creative expression can unlock understanding, progress, and possibility.
The event was founded by Popper Daley x BPI, also known as Bully Pulpit International.
