Border Patrol Caught Red-Handed: Covering Up Chaos At Southern Border During Certain Visits

Written by Published

The Border Patrol was caught red-handed, according to the Washington Times.

They were found to have bused numerous migrants away from the border. This is critical because it appears that they did so to hide the extent of the border crisis. They seemed to want to give the impression that the surge of migrants at the border wasn't as bad as it first appeared.

All this is highly important because some people are getting a false impression of what's going on at the border. They're trying to make it look less severe than it truly is.

The Washington Times reports that the reality of the situation is that border agents are overworked, overwhelmed, and generally exhausted. A new report by the inspector general states that the Customs and Border Protection and Immigration and Customs Enforcement are stretched to the point of breaking down entirely.

The audit of the organization found that the staffing levels of the organization have remained stable even as their workloads have skyrocketed.

Roughly 90% of law enforcement agents interviewed as part of the audit process agreed that they do not have the required staffing levels. This has been a mounting problem and continues to overwhelm those left behind to deal with this mess.

CBP employees have complained that they have had to work with a "skeleton crew" even though the inflow of migrants has steadily increased. It's expected to get even worse in the coming days as Title 42 is set to expire on May 11th. One of the CBP employees stated that it feels more like they are social workers rather than law enforcement officers.

There have been waves of resignations in the face of the falling morale levels among the various border patrol agents. There is simply too much work for most of them to handle, and the crushing reality of that has weighed heavily on many agents.
