Watch Elizabeth Warren Explode After CBS Host Demands Answers On Free Healthcare For Non-Citizens!

Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts found herself in a heated exchange with CBS host Tony Dokoupil, as the conversation turned to the contentious issue of healthcare for non-citizens.

The debate arose from the Democrats' proposal, which Republicans claim reverses benefits removed by President Trump's administration in what he referred to as his "big, beautiful bill." Warren interrupted Dokoupil, asserting, "Excuse me, not strictly true. It is a flat-out lie. It is a flat-out lie!"

She emphasized, "There is nothing in Medicaid, there is nothing in Medicare that permits one undocumented immigrant to get one dollar of assistance. None, zero."

As reported by Sean Hannity, Dokoupil persisted, attempting to clarify the Democratic proposal. He noted, "In the Democratic counter offer, the proposal for funding, there is a restoration for Medicaid benefits for certain non-citizens that had been taken away in the big, beautiful bill. Republicans dont think those people should be getting healthcare on the taxpayers dime. Politically, putting that in there exposes you to this talking point, this lie as you put it. Why put it in there? Why is it worth it?"

Warren refuted this, maintaining that the Democrats' intention is solely to ensure hospitals are reimbursed for emergency care provided to any patient, regardless of their immigration status.

This confrontation unfolded against the backdrop of a government shutdown initiated by Democrats, who opposed the GOP's stance on extending Obamacare subsidies. The Congressional Budget Office has projected that making these subsidies permanent could inflate the deficit by $350 billion from 2026 to 2035.

Republicans argue that the priority should be on maintaining government operations rather than engaging in debates over new tax credits.
