Rep. Swalwell Says Something Stupid, Once Again!

During a recent episode of MSNBC's "The Last Word," Representative Eric Swalwell (D-CA) expressed grave concerns regarding the priorities of the federal government, particularly in light of a recent shooting at an ICE facility in Texas.

Swalwell described the incident as "the second political assassination in the last three weeks," raising questions about the FBI's capacity to safeguard the public amidst its current focus. He questioned, "if the FBI is so distracted to carry out these prosecutions on behalf of Donald Trump, are they able to protect the public from sick individuals who are willing to carry out these sick executions?"

As reported by Breitbart, Swalwell further elaborated on the pressures faced by Americans, stating, "Americans are being squeezed in every way. And then when they turn on the news, they see this madness that the Presidents priorities are going after his political opponents."

His remarks suggest a belief that the administration's focus on political adversaries may detract from addressing more pressing public safety concerns.

Swalwell highlighted the recent attack at the ICE facility, where a gunman targeted and killed a detainee while injuring another. He noted the shooter's online presence, suggesting a potential motive linked to targeting ICE officials. This incident, according to Swalwell, underscores a broader issue of whether federal law enforcement can effectively protect citizens when their resources are seemingly diverted.

The congressman's comments reflect a broader critique of the administration's priorities, emphasizing the need for a balanced approach that ensures public safety without political bias.
