Sylvester Stallone, the iconic actor known for his roles in films such as "Rocky" and "Rambo," has expressed his satisfaction with relocating from California to Florida.
At 79, Stallone shared his enthusiasm for his new home state, stating it aligns more closely with his personal preferences.
I love it, Stallone remarked to Fox News, highlighting the pristine air quality and proximity to the water, which he noted brings joy to both him and his wife, Jennifer Flavin. Its just so lush, he added, emphasizing the natural beauty of Florida.
Stallone's connection to the Sunshine State dates back to his college years as a drama major at the University of Miami, where he first became acquainted with the environment. I went to college there for a couple of years. So, Im not a stranger to the environment, but it fits my personality much better, he explained.
According to Breitbart, Stallone and Flavin's decision to leave California was driven by a desire for change, rather than dissatisfaction with their former home.
Jennifer Flavin, Stallone's wife, echoed her husband's sentiments, expressing contentment with their move. Its an incredible move, I have to say Im really happy with our move and our change, she told Fox News.
Despite her deep roots in California, where she was born and raised, Flavin acknowledged that the relocation was a positive step for their family. With their daughters having moved to the East Coast and many friends also departing California, Flavin felt there was little left for her in the Golden State.
A few of our best friends also moved, so I think its [a] good change, just making new friends, living a totally different lifestyle. I love it. Im really happy, she said.
Flavin was quick to clarify that their decision was not influenced by concerns over crime, a topic often associated with California's urban areas. Theres crime everywhere, theres crime in Florida, too, so I didnt move because of crime. You can find it anywhere you look, even in small towns, she stated.
Despite her fondness for California, which she described as probably the most beautiful state in the United States, Flavin felt the need for a fresh start. I felt like Ive been there long enough, and life is short, so I wanted to make a change and not just be sitting in one house the rest of my life, she concluded.
The Stallones' move reflects a broader trend of individuals seeking new opportunities and lifestyles outside of California, driven by personal preferences and family considerations.
