'Escalator-Gate' Escalates! Trump Cries Foul, Demands Probe Into Triple Sabotage At The UN

President Donald Trump's recent visit to the United Nations was plagued by a series of unfortunate events, which he has since labeled as "triple sabotage."

The President and First Lady Melania Trump narrowly avoided a tumble when an escalator abruptly halted, his teleprompter malfunctioned, and the auditorium's sound system was mysteriously muted. These incidents have sparked a wave of controversy and speculation, with the President demanding an immediate investigation.

According to RedState, these mishaps have raised eyebrows, particularly in light of rumors that U.N. staffers had humorously suggested halting the escalators and elevators to force Trump to walk. The President, however, is not amused and has taken to social media to express his dissatisfaction and demand answers.

"Im sending a copy of this letter to the Secretary General, and I demand an immediate investigation. No wonder the United Nations hasnt been able to do the job that they were put in existence to do..." President Trump stated in a social media post.

The President has been vocal about his belief that these were not mere coincidences but rather deliberate acts of sabotage. He took to his social media platform to express his outrage and announce his intention to write to U.N. Secretary-General Antnio Guterres.

"A REAL DISGRACE took place at the United Nations yesterday Not one, not two, but three very sinister events!," he wrote. "First, the escalator going up to the Main Speaking Floor came to a screeching halt. It stopped on a dime. It's amazing that Melania and I didn't fall forward onto the sharp edges of these steel steps, face first. It was only that we were each holding the handrail tightly or, it would have been a disaster."

The mainstream media's response to Trump's complaints has been dismissive, with ABC News describing him as "complaining." However, considering that the U.S. significantly funds the United Nations, it is reasonable to expect that the teleprompter and escalators should function properly when the commander in chief is present.

Trump's grievances did not end with the escalator and teleprompter. He also reported that the audio in the General Assembly Hall was turned off, leaving Melania unable to hear her husband's address.

"And third, after making the Speech, I was told that the sound was completely off in the Auditorium where the Speech was made, that World Leaders, unless they used the interpreters' earpieces, couldn't hear a thing," he wrote. "The first person I saw at the conclusion of the Speech was Melania, who was sitting right up front. I said, "How did I do?" And she said, "I couldn't hear a word you said." This wasn't a coincidence, this was triple sabotage at the UN. They ought to be ashamed of themselves."

In response to these allegations, the White House announced that the Secret Service is investigating the incidents. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt echoed Trump's sentiments during an interview with Jesse Watters on Fox News, stating, "First it was the escalator, then it was the teleprompter, and then the audio inside the room was much lower and different for the President than for the previous speakers when you put all this together, it doesnt look like a coincidence."

While it remains to be seen what the investigation will uncover, the series of unfortunate events during President Trump's U.N. visit certainly raises questions. With so many things going wrong simultaneously, one can't help but wonder if these were mere coincidences or if there's more to the story.

The public will have to wait for the results of the investigation to draw their conclusions.
