Elon Musk Exposes Kamala Harris Free Speech Flip-Flop!

Elon Musk has taken aim at Kamala Harris for her previous efforts to ban President Donald Trump from Twitter.

This comes in response to Harris' criticism of the indefinite suspension of Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show, which she labeled as an infringement on free speech.

As reported by The Post Millennial, Harris expressed her disapproval following Disney's decision to pull "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" off the air. She stated on X, "What we are witnessing is an outright abuse of power. This administration is attacking critics and using fear as a weapon to silence anyone who would speak out.

Media corporations from television networks to newspapers are capitulating to these threats." Harris further emphasized, "We cannot dare to be silent or complacent in the face of this frontal assault on free speech. We, the people, deserve better."

Musk countered by highlighting a 2019 post from Harris, when she was a California senator, in which she advocated for the suspension of Trump's Twitter account. Musk shared this post with a thinking face emoji, underscoring the apparent contradiction.

The suspension of Kimmel's show occurred shortly after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Kimmel had commented, "We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang desperately trying to characterize this kid who murdered Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them and doing everything they can to score political points from it," which sparked immediate controversy.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has faced scrutiny regarding its involvement, with FCC Chairman Brendan Carr defending the decision on Fox News, stating that "broadcasters are different than any other form of communication."

Meanwhile, Senator Ted Cruz cautioned conservatives about the potential repercussions of such actions, while accusing Kimmel of misleading the public.
