In a recent appearance on Fox Business Network's "Mornings with Maria," Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall addressed revelations from Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Sen.
Chuck Grassley (R-IA) regarding the Biden administration's 2022 "Arctic Frost" investigation.
This probe reportedly targeted conservatives, including the late Charlie Kirk, a prominent supporter of President Trump.
During the segment, host Maria Bartiromo expressed disbelief at the situation, stating, "This is unbelievable, particularly now to see all of this as the Democrats are losing their minds over the suspension of Jimmy Kimmels show, how quickly we forget what weve just done to Republicans."
She highlighted Marshall's role as the chairman of the Republican Attorneys General Association during the period in question. According to Breitbart, Marshall responded by drawing parallels to past actions under the Obama administration, noting, "Joe Biden learned at the feet of Barack Obama, who weaponized the IRS to come after conservatives, conservative groups and religious organizations."
Marshall further criticized the administration's priorities, pointing out that in 2022, a time when violent crime was rampant, resources were instead directed towards scrutinizing Republican figures and organizations. He remarked, "Highly disappointing in 2022 when violent crime was on its apex in this country, that rather than attacking that problem that affected public safety, theyre looking at Republican attorney general like me, Republican governors across our country, Charlie Kirk, Turning Point, other supporters of President Trump."
Marshall commended Senator Grassley and the Judiciary Committee for their efforts in bringing these issues to light, emphasizing the importance of transparency and accountability in government actions.
