Democrats Introduce New Legislation To Eliminate Stigma Of "Menstruating People"

Democrats have gone crazy yet again.

This time, they have introduced a new bill with the alleged intent of eliminating the stigma against menstruating people..

Fox News reports that the legislation was introduced by Rep. Grace Meng of New York and nine other House Democrats. The resolution intends to recognize the impact the stigmatization of menstruation has on the lives of women, girls, and people who menstruate and seeks to designate May as National Menstrual Health Awareness Month.

The resolution cites World Bank data suggesting that 500 million people lack access to the menstruation products they need. Democrats who introduced this legislation state that the lack of access to menstruation products denies people some of their basic dignity and more. It is something that they want to do something about.

The legislation says: Menstrual health impacts the fulfillment of rights such as adequate and secure housing, education, safe and healthy working conditions, and freedom from discrimination.

and

Access to safe, private water and sanitation facilities is essential for effectively managing menstrual hygiene with dignity.

The legislation also noted that many people who face problems with a lack of access to menstrual products are women and girls. However, they include the term menstruating people to be as inclusive as possible of transgender people are others. This is something that the Democrat Party has been seemingly obsessed with in the last few years, and they continue to hold their ground on that to this day.

The rest of the country might not exactly be with the Democrats on this one, but they seem willing to continue trying to push this specific issue for whatever reason.

The bill suggests that Congress must eliminate the stigma of menstruating people. Some say this is an impossible goal that cannot be accomplished through legislation; some are not afraid to point this out.

Transgender issues have been a significant focus for Congress in recent weeks, according to Fox News. They point out that the House has passed legislation preventing biological males from competing in sports for women. The legislation received yes votes from all House Republicans and no votes from all House Democrats. Regardless, the legislation will not make it out of the Democrat-controlled Senate. That said, it was seen as a signaling bill about what Republicans want to do when they can regain power. It is an excellent way for Republicans to show voters what they are all about.
