Two teenagers, identified as 16-year-old Miracle Webster and 18-year-old Tony Brewer, were reported missing on Monday, May 31, 2021, in Henryetta, Oklahoma.
An alert was issued, stating that the teens were last seen at 1:22 pm and possibly traveling in a white Chevy Avalanche with Jesse McFadden.
Later that day, at around 3 pm, police executed a search warrant at McFadden's property and discovered seven bodies. Although the authorities did not confirm the victims' identities, the Emergency Management Agency (EMA) was canceled after the discovery. Law enforcement told the media they believed they had found the missing teens and were no longer looking for them.
The Henryetta Public School system issued a statement later that day, stating that "several" students were among the victims. In a letter to parents, the District wrote that classes would continue, but graduation ceremonies scheduled for the week were postponed, and grief counselors would be available to students. Nathan Brewer, Tony's father, confirmed to News on 6 that his son was among the victims.
On Tuesday, Janette Mayo, a Westville, Oklahoma resident, confirmed to the Associated Press that her daughter, Holly Guess, 35, was also among the victims. State records retrieved by NPR revealed that Guess and McFadden had applied for a marriage license in 2022. Mayo added that her grandchildren, Rylee Elizabeth Allen, 17, Michael James Mayo, 15, and Tiffany Dore Guess, 13, were also found dead at the property.
The parents were shocked to find out about McFadden's criminal history after Okmulgee Investigators informed the families that the bodies of five children and two adults had been found on McFadden's rural property. Webster and Brewer had been staying with Holly McFadden's daughter, Tiffany, when their parents reported them missing.
Holly is Jesse's wife, the outlet reports. Jesse McFadden was ordered to appear in court on Monday on charges that include soliciting sexual communication with a minor by use of technology and possession/distribution of juvenile pornography while he was serving a 20-year prison sentence in 2017. In 2003, McFadden was convicted of first-degree rape in Pittsburg County and sentenced to 20 years. He was released from prison in 2020, according to the Oklahoma Department of Corrections (ODOC).
It was revealed the next day that McFadden had sent a series of text messages to the young girl he solicited in 2017 the night before authorities found the bodies on his property. According to Fox 23, McFadden allegedly texted her on Sunday night, just hours before the trial began.
"I did exactly what I promised to do when I got out. I got a marketing job making great money and was advanced. Been there two years now and made a great life as I promised I would do with you," McFadden allegedly told the victim. "Now it's all gone. "I told you I wouldn't go back," he continued. "This is all on you for continuing this."
The Websters slammed the criminal justice system for releasing McFadden and told Fox 23 that their children would still be alive if he remained behind bars. "He should not have been out, and it's our justice system that needs to be harder," Justin told the outlet. "He's a pedophile, and people need to know, they need to find him, lock him up." "He shouldn't have been out to be able to do all this," Ashleigh Webster added.
