The political landscape of the United States is once again being shaken as investigations into the Democrats' alleged manipulation during the 2016 election gain momentum.
The focus of these investigations is the accusation that the Democrats falsely implicated then-presidential candidate Donald Trump's campaign in a collusion with Russia, an event now widely referred to as Russiagate.
According to WND, the evidence suggests that the instigator of Russiagate was none other than the Democratic candidate at the time, Hillary Clinton. The allegations were further propagated by Democrats holding high-ranking positions in the Obama administration.
Despite the debunking of these claims, some followers continue to echo the falsehoods. The investigations are currently under review by Congress and the Department of Justice.
In a surprising turn of events, Hillary Clinton may now be facing a unique challenge: an investigation into her ability to practice law. Democracy Restored, a government watchdog, has filed a complaint questioning Clinton's ethics. The complaint, submitted to the Arkansas state bar, requests a review of whether her involvement in the conspiracy theory should impact her legal practice rights in the state.
The complaint refers to the Arkansas Rules of Professional Conduct, specifically the sections on "Dishonesty" and "Prejudice to the Administration of Justice." It calls for a "formal review of the conduct of Hillary Rodham Clinton, Esq., a licensed attorney in the State of Arkansas, in connection with her actions during the 2016 presidential campaign," as reported by Fox News.
The Senate Judiciary Committee recently disclosed evidence suggesting that Clinton approved a plan to disseminate false information with the intention of tarnishing Trump's reputation. The objective also seemed to include diverting attention from her own scandal, where she was under investigation for storing government secrets on a private, unsecured email server in her home. Investigations indicate that Democrats in power shielded her from any charges related to this.
The complaint alleges that Clinton had connections to anti-Trump "opposition research" and claims her campaign promoted unverified information to damage Trump. It further accuses her of personally endorsing an effort to magnify this unreliable intelligence to the media and federal law enforcement.
An official from Democracy Restored told Fox, "Former Secretary Clintons utilization of a bunk dossier by a foreign ex-spy to harm a political opponent violates basic ethical norms as well as the Arkansas bars own rules of conduct for attorneys. The Arkansas bar needs to take a serious look at former Secretary Clintons involvement in this scandal and take appropriate action."
The letter acknowledges that no criminal charges have been filed yet, but it also notes that "recently released records have again increased the prospect of a federal investigation into her conduct."
Meanwhile, the Trump administration has been revoking the security clearances of those implicated in the scheme. This development underscores the seriousness of the situation and the potential repercussions for those involved.
The unfolding of these investigations will undoubtedly have significant implications for the political landscape, and it remains to be seen how they will impact the reputation and future of the Democratic party.
