Actor Chris Pratt recently appeared on the podcast "Club Random," where he humorously criticized those Americans who harbor such intense disdain for President Donald Trump that they are unable to acknowledge the accomplishments of his administration.

Pratt, who entered into matrimony with Katherine Schwarzenegger in 2019daughter of Maria Shriver and niece of the late President John F. Kennedyshared his thoughts on the podcast about his interactions with Health and Human Services (HHS) Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

Pratt expressed his support for much of Kennedy's agenda, while also highlighting the tendency of some individuals to dismiss his efforts simply because of his association with the Trump administration.

According to the Daily Caller, Pratt remarked, In politics, you inherit enemies. And when you jump on the bandwagon with who is the most divisive president ever, it makes sense that youre going to be made to look terrible. He elaborated on his personal interactions with Kennedy, noting that their conversations are more about leisure activities than political discourse.

And so I dont know what to believe, cause its not like I sit with Bobby and I go, So, hey, lets talk about this. Its like were just playing cards or playing Mafia or having fun or having dinner. Im not going to pick his brain to find out exactly which of those things are true. I just kind of assume that none of them are. And for the most part, I wish him well, man.

Pratt further emphasized the importance of recognizing bipartisan efforts, particularly those aimed at improving public health. Theres certain things that he oversees that seem to be supported in a bipartisan way, like getting terrible, toxic stuff out of our kids food. I think thats a great thing. And so if you just do that, thats amazing, he stated.

Pratt criticized the notion of allowing personal animosity towards the President to overshadow the positive outcomes of his administration, saying, Id hate to be so mired in hatred for the president that any success from his administration is something Id have an allergic reaction to to be like, Oh, well, if they do it, I dont want it to happen. Ill put Clorox in my childrens cereal myself. Its like, come on, be reasonable here. There are certain things that would be a good thing to have. I want them all to be successful.

Under Kennedy's leadership, the HHS has spearheaded the Make America Healthy Again (MAHA) Commission, which has directed the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to terminate the practice allowing corporations to self-certify the safety of their food ingredients.

Since the inception of the MAHA initiatives in April, approximately 40% of companies within the food industry, including major players like General Mills, Hershey, and Kraft Heinz, have committed to eliminating chemical food dyes from their products.

Additionally, the HHS has sanctioned the use of natural food dyes in various products such as cereals, chips, frozen desserts, and snack mixes. In a related move, the Consumer Brands Association (CBA) announced a plan in July to remove chemical food dyes from products served in public schools by the 2026-2027 school year.

This initiative underscores a broader commitment to enhancing the safety and quality of food consumed by children across the nation.
