Leftists Lose It As Trump Demands New Census!

President Trump has once again stirred controversy, this time with a directive that could significantly alter the political landscape.

He announced a plan that could potentially undermine the Democrats' influence over several congressional seats and electoral votes. The President has instructed the Department of Commerce to commence work on a new census that would exclude illegal aliens from being counted, ensuring only legal residents are included.

In his announcement, Trump stated, "I have instructed our Department of Commerce to immediately begin work on a new and highly accurate CENSUS based on modern day facts and figures and, importantly, using the results and information gained from the Presidential Election of 2024. People who are in our Country illegally WILL NOT BE COUNTED IN THE CENSUS." He concluded with a note of gratitude, "Thank you for your attention to this matter!"

As reported by Gateway Pundit, this move was anticipated since June, when it was suggested that Trump was preparing to exclude noncitizens from the census. The implications of such a change could be profound for the Democratic Party.

The census is a critical tool used to allocate House seats, determine the number of Electoral College votes each state receives, and direct the distribution of trillions of dollars in government funding.

Research indicates that counting noncitizens in the census disproportionately benefits states with large populations of illegal aliens, which tend to lean Democratic. Conversely, red states stand to gain from the proposed changes. Historical data suggests that if illegal migrants had been excluded from the 2010 census, states like Louisiana, Missouri, Montana, Ohio, and North Carolina would have gained additional House seats, while California would have lost three, and Texas and Florida would have each lost one. This would have also altered the distribution of Electoral College votes.

Stephen Miller, a prominent conservative figure, has suggested that the impact of excluding illegal aliens from the census could be even more significant. Speaking with Sean Hannity, he estimated that Democrats gained up to 30 seats due to the inclusion of unauthorized migrants.

A census that accurately reflects the legal population could result in fewer electoral votes and House seats for Democrats. Coupled with the Republican Party's assertive approach to redistricting, this could leave Democrats struggling to regain power for an extended period.
