Trump Grades His Cabinet: Here's What He Really Thinks About His Appointments!

In a surprising turn of events, former rivals President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have become staunch allies.

The two were once at odds during the 2016 Republican presidential nomination race, with Trump famously dubbing his competitor "Little Marco," and Rubio retorting with jibes about Trump's hand size.

According to RedState, the political landscape has drastically changed by 2025. Trump is serving his second term as president, and Rubio, once his adversary, is now his devoted secretary of state. In a recent interview on Newsmax's "Finnerty" show,

Trump praised Rubio, saying, Born for this job. We had a really nasty campaign in the 2016 campaign ... and yet I respected him. I thought he was a great debater. I thought he was very smart. ... He's just a great guy. And he did something else that's amazing. He got, essentially, a hundred votes" in his Senate confirmation.

"He was able to get along with everybody. He's a very talented guy, Marco, and we're really happy."

Rubio, despite his favorable standing with the president, indicated that he has no immediate plans to run for the presidency in 2028, citing the strong performance of Vice President JD Vance.

Trump also expressed satisfaction with other members of his Cabinet, including Education Secretary Linda McMahon and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent. He commended McMahon for her quiet effectiveness, stating, "[Shes] great. And I'll tell you a little bit surprising because, you know, Linda's sort of a quiet person. ... And you know what she's really doing? It's not just the Harvard stuff. The more important is that she's bringing education back to the states. The states are going to take education. She's done a great job."

Regarding Bessent, Trump remarked, "Has a soothing way that's unbelievable. ... He's got a great way about him and very highly respected. The president admitted that Bessent's performance has been a pleasant surprise.

Trump also lauded Homeland Secretary Kristi Noem, Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, who he said has become a star.

The current administration stands in stark contrast to Trump's first term, which was marked by infighting, backstabbing, and constant leaks. The President's new team appears to be a unified Cabinet, committed to implementing his agenda rather than covertly undermining it.

Their winning streak is unprecedented. If they can maintain their unity and continue to work as a team, they can fulfill their promises and continue to make America great again. The nation watches with bated breath as this team continues to deliver on its promises, demonstrating the power of unity and shared vision in governance.
