Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA) has disclosed that his district office in Hermitage, Pennsylvania, fell victim to vandalism, emphasizing that "political violence and vandalism are never acceptable.

The incident has prompted an investigation by local law enforcement and the U.S. Capitol Police, as Kelly assured the public that his staff members were unharmed and absent during the crime.

In a post on X, Kelly stated, "Overnight, our new Hermitage District Office was vandalized. Local law enforcement, along with U.S. Capitol Police, are investigating the incident. Our staff members are safe and were not in the office at the time of the crime." He further reiterated, "Lets be clear, political violence and vandalism are never acceptable."

According to Breitbart, the vandalism included inflammatory messages such as "GOP= racism, rape, child rape, cover-up," "Mental illness is not a crime," and "A** kisser liar," all scrawled in red on the office's door and windows. Kelly, who has represented Pennsylvania's 16th Congressional District since 2019, has been a vocal advocate against political violence.

Recently, he collaborated with Republican Study Committee Chairman Rep. August Pfluger (R-TX) to introduce a resolution condemning political violence and honoring victims of the July 13, 2024, assassination attempt on President Donald Trump in Butler.

Kelly's roots run deep in Pennsylvania, having been born in Pittsburgh and raised in Butler. He pursued higher education at the University of Notre Dame before joining the family business, Kelly Chevrolet-Cadillac, Inc., in Butler.

His career trajectory underscores a commitment to traditional values and community service, reflecting the conservative principles he upholds in his political endeavors.
