A California professor is under fire after allegedly revealing that he sexually assaulted a five-year-old.
An undercover FBI agent reports that the same professor also reportedly tried to lure a 7-year-old girl and that he performed sexual acts on an 11-year-old as well.
Fox News reports that Rodger Rod Githens, the professor in question, works for the University of the Pacific and allegedly met with an undercover FBI agent on the dating app Grindr. He then reportedly spoke more with the agent about his actions on the Telegram application.
Blaze News reports that Githens is accused of having graphic conversations with the agent on Telegram and admitting to having sexual relations with children. Githens alleged that he made out, touched a 5-year-old and would love to make out with the FBI agent and his 7-year-old niece.
Githens allegedly wrote on Telegram: Would love to make out with you both. Touch you both. Eat her p***y."
Githens also allegedly said he was experienced and would provide the child with her favorite chocolate bar and a doll from The Little Mermaid movie.
Githens allegedly added the following: Honestly, I love chatting but would love to have a dad or uncle invite me.
The FBI agent allegedly asked Githens if he had done any touching with kids, to which he reportedly replied that he had groped his husbands nephew in Mexico.
Githens allegedly said: With my husband's [11-year-old] nephew I did.
FBI agents executed a search warrant on April 19, 2023, about the comments that the professor had made here. They allegedly found multiple examples of child pornography all over the home of the individual they encountered in this situation.
Hope it wont freak you out ... I get it completely its pretty extreme, Githens allegedly said alongside one of the videos.
Despite the allegations, Githenss husband claims that he was completely unaware of the allegations or any involvement that Githens might have had with child pornography.
Fox News reports that Githens was charged in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of California for the receipt and distribution of images of a minor engaging in sexually explicit conduct.
A spokesperson for the University of the Pacific said: The university does not comment on ongoing legal proceedings, They added that Githens had been placed on administrative leave while this legal case was ongoing.
