Mark Cuban Slams Dems' Trump Sucks StrategyThen Trips Over His Own Ego Mid-Rant!

Mark Cuban, the billionaire entrepreneur, recently made a rare political observation that came close to hitting the mark.

However, in typical fashion, Cuban inadvertently revealed why he and other liberals often fall short of the truth.

During the July 13 episode of the Pod Save America podcast, Cuban pinpointed the Democrats' repetitive anti-Trump messaging as the reason for their failure to sway voters. "We pick the wrong pressure points," Cuban said of his fellow Democrats. "Its just Trump sucks. Thats the underlying thought of everything the Democrats do. Trump sucks. Trump says the sky is blue. Trump sucks.'"

This statement suggests that the Democrats' fixation on Trump has left them with little else to offer the electorate. "You cant thats not the way to win," Cuban continued. "Its just not because its not about Trump. Its about the people of the United States of America and whats good for them."

It appears as though Cuban, a prominent supporter of former Vice President Kamala Harris, has identified the issue. But should this revelation concern Republicans? Not at all.

According to the Western Journal, Cuban's comments during the podcast reveal more about the Democrats' shortcomings than they do about their strengths. "We want to think. Democrats want to think. They want to engage. They want to have conversations," Cuban stated earlier in the interview. These comments, intended to explain why Democrats' messaging often falls flat, instead come across as condescending and elitist.

"They want to feel smart. They want to look smart. You know, they go to college. These are college graduates," he added. "Thats what college graduates do. Everythings like a dorm-room discussion." This implies that those who are not Democrats lack interest in intellectual pursuits or higher education.

Cuban's remarks about Democrats' desire to "think" and their college education reek of liberal elitism. This is not the first time Cuban has displayed such a lack of self-awareness and poor political instincts. During the 2024 campaign, for instance, Cuban offended many women who supported Trump, leading to a backlash in the final days of the campaign.

Cuban's analysis of what motivates modern Democrats is fundamentally flawed. In recent years, Democrats have shown more interest in censorship, cancel culture, and even violence than in thoughtful engagement and conversation. Modern Democrats are not defined by their ideas but by their shared disdain for those who disagree with them and their need to signal their moral and intellectual superiority.

They champion tolerance to the point of absurdity, which prevents them from condemning obvious injustices such as open borders and men competing in women's sports. Affluence is another defining factor for modern Democrats. In the 2024 election, America's wealthiest counties voted overwhelmingly for Harris, revealing a condescension, authoritarianism, and disregard for the interests of their less fortunate neighbors that is characteristic of those who enjoy actual privilege.

In essence, while Cuban correctly identified the Democrats' Trump-centric messaging as a problem, he also unintentionally demonstrated why he and other liberals fail to grasp the full truth. This lack of understanding is a gift to the GOP, and as long as it persists, Republicans have little to fear from the Democrats' messaging strategy.
