Vice-President Kamala Harris is being mocked by her critics yet again after a bizarre speech she gave in front of a friendly crowd.
Fox News reports that Harris gave a speech during a rally for abortion rights at Howard University in Washington DC on Tuesday.
This was her first public speaking engagement following the announcement of Bidens re-election bid for 2024. Harris argued that liberals must stand up and fight against what she called a national agenda by the GOP to limit voting rights, abortion rights, and LGBTQ rights, according to a report by NPR. However, at one point in her speech, she gave a rambling description of what she deemed to be the moments importance.
Harris said the following in a video shared by the Republican National Committee: So I think its very important, as you have heard from so many incredible leaders for us at every moment in time and certainly this one, to see the moment in time in which we exist and are present, and to be able to contextualize it, to understand where we exist in the history and the moment as it relates not only to the past but the future.
Steve Guest, a conservative advisor to Senator Ted Cruz, used his Twitter account to say that her latest speech was nothing more than word salad.
Talk radio host Buck Sexton stated, Every Kamala speech somehow sounds like the most brutally boring corporate HR seminar imaginable.
Republican strategist Matt Whitlock also said that the Vice President appears unable to speak normally.
Whitlock said: Its pretty striking that she is simply incapable of speaking normally. Is she actually smoking weed before grabbing the mic? It would explain so much.
Fox News Radio, host Guy Benson, responded with a grimacing emoji to the uncomfortable speech.
PJ Media senior columnist Stephen Kruiser also mocked the speech by saying: She speaks like James Joyce would have written if hed had no talent and been even more drunk.
Freelance security analyst Kyle Orton stated that Harris was similar to the satirical political character Selina Meyer from Veep.
The Vice-President has received a lot of criticism in the past for her seeming inability to speak clearly and coherently. When she makes public speeches, she often makes errors that the White House and its supporters must clean up. Even last month, Harris was mocked for saying she was honoring "women who made history throughout history" during a Women's History Month speech.
