In a shocking revelation, Kristi Noem, Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, disclosed the disturbing details of a recent arrest of an illegal immigrant who, she claimed, resorted to self-cannibalism after being detained.
This unsettling incident was discussed during a roundtable meeting at the newly established illegal immigration detention facility, "Alligator Alcatraz," in Florida. Both Noem and President Donald Trump were present to discuss the facility and provide a tour.
"President Trump is championing freedom through his actions," Noem stated, according to RedState. She further criticized liberal media outlets, particularly CNN, for their alleged misrepresentation of the operations carried out by her department. "We are targeting murderers, rapists, traffickers, and drug dealers, removing them from our streets and our country because [former President] Joe Biden allowed the worst of the worst to enter," she said.
Noem recounted a chilling tale from a recent deportation operation. "I was speaking with some of the marshals who had been working with ICE, and they told me that they had detained a cannibal [illegal alien] and put him on a plane to deport him," she said. "While he was seated, he began to eat himself, necessitating immediate medical attention."
Noem emphasized the severity of the situation, stating, "These are the type of deranged individuals we are trying to remove from our country. They are so unstable, they don't belong here. They shouldn't be sharing our streets with our children."
During the discussion, Noem highlighted a worrying trend, stating that violence against ICE officers and border patrol agents has "risen by over 500 percent since Trump returned to the White House." She attributed this increase to the President's commitment to upholding the law and the misinformation spread by liberals, socialists, and Marxists about Trump's actions.
In a previous report by RedState, it was revealed that Noem announced the Department of Justice's investigation into CNN for promoting ICEBlock, an app that alerts illegal immigrants to the presence of ICE agents.
When asked about CNN's promotion of the app and Border Czar Tom Homan's comments about prosecuting the network, President Trump responded, "It's okay with me," before Noem added her thoughts.
"We are collaborating with the Department of Justice to determine if we can prosecute them for that," the DHS secretary told the press. "What they are doing is actively encouraging people to evade law enforcement activities and operations."
During a White House Press Briefing, Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt was questioned about the ICEBlock app, given the significant increase in attacks on Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. Leavitt expressed her concern, stating that promoting such an app could incite further violence against ICE officers.
"There's been a 500 percent increase in violence against ICE agents, law enforcement officers across the country who are simply trying to do their jobs," she said. "And remove public safety threats from our communities, and that's something we as Americans, including journalists at CNN who live in many of these cities, where illegal aliens are hiding and were let in from the previous administrations, should be very grateful for."
RedState has consistently reported on the numerous misleading news reports surrounding the illegal immigration issue, including false claims about anti-ICE riots, allegations of medical care denial to an illegal alien child with leukemia by the DHS, and misrepresentations about a once-deported illegal immigrant.
The shocking revelation of the detained cannibal has left many waiting to see how Democrat or legacy media outlets will respond. The backlash promises to be significant.
