WATCH: Biden Unleashes FIERY Attack On These Two Controversial Republicans

President Joe Biden launched his re-election campaign with a video message that targeted Republican politicians, Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL).

The video highlighted images of the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, and former President Donald Trump alongside Greene and DeSantis.

Biden condemned "MAGA extremists" in the video and accused them of threatening "bedrock freedoms" in the country. MAGA, the acronym for Trump's campaign slogan "Make America Great Again," has become a term used by Democrats to describe right-wing and Trump-aligned politicians.

The President then accused "MAGA extremists" of wanting to cut Social Security and taxes for the wealthy, ban books, and dictate women's healthcare decisions, among other allegations.

"Cutting Social Security that you've paid for your entire life while cutting taxes for the very wealthy. Dictating what healthcare decisions women can make, banning books, and telling people who they can love. All while making it more difficult for you to be able to vote," Biden said in the video.

Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene fired back at Biden on Twitter, accusing him of spreading lies in his pre-recorded 2024 re-election video. She stated that Republicans have no plans to cut Social Security and that abortion is not women's healthcare.

"We aren't telling people who to love; we want to protect kids from the Democrat approved child genital mutilation medical industry," Greene tweeted.

Governor Ron DeSantis is rumored to announce his bid for the presidency in late May or early June. He has previously hinted at a candidacy, although he claims not to be currently running.

"I'm not a candidate, so we'll see if and when that changes," DeSantis told reporters during a trip to Japan on Monday.

According to recent polling data, Trump is the frontrunner in the Republican field, with DeSantis in second place.

Biden's re-election video focused on the dangers posed by "MAGA extremists" to the country's fundamental freedoms. Representative Greene dismissed Biden's claims as lies on Twitter, while Governor DeSantis hinted at a presidential run.

With Trump leading the Republican field and DeSantis in second place, the 2024 presidential race promises to be highly contested.
