A street preacher in Oklahoma is facing potential jail time after he violated a restraining order about speaking in opposition to a local LGBTQ advocacy group.

Fox News reports that pastor Rich Penkoski is facing the threat of jail time after violating a restraining order against him and his viewpoints concerning children exposed to drag shows and the like. Penkoski is the head of a group known as Warriors for Christ. They are an outspoken group that stands up against the threat of the LGBTQ agenda spreading throughout the country. He spoke with Fox News Digital and stated that he believes that the restraining order is unconstitutional and that this could lead to a legal precedent that could clamp down on the ability for Christians to speak their minds about their faith and the opinions that they have in general about the LGBTQ community and their beliefs. The pastor said the following about drag shows:

Ive been preaching against this kind of stuff for years when it first started in libraries, and Weve been telling people its going to get worse if we dont do anything, and thats where we are.

Penskoski says a church in Bartlesville, Oklahoma invited him to protest outside a local drag show. He said that the church asked him to do so after local churches in the area failed to speak out against it for themselves. They wouldnt stand up to the drag shows in the area, but Penskoski was willing to do so. The Christian Post reported that Penskoski also posted a photo of the same-sex wedding of Sheena Hayes and Morgan Lawrence-Hayes. Hayes is the executive board President of the Bartlesville chapter of Oklahomans for Equality.

In that post, Penskoski referred to Bible verses he believes oppose same-sex marriage. He referenced the Bible verse from Romans 1:32, which reads:

And although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

He also referred to Matthew 18:6, which quotes Jesus and reads: Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck and to [be] drowned in the depth of the sea.

A police report states that the same-sex couple felt personally threatened by Penskoski and obtained a restraining order from a court against Penskoski.
