President Donald Trump has openly acknowledged an area where he does not surpass President Joe Biden.
In a video shared on X, Trump remarked, Unlike Biden, I stay awake at night thinking about how to save our country. He was much better at sleeping than me. He humorously added, He could sleep on a beach, he could sleep on a beach with cameras rolling. I cant do that. This light-hearted comment highlights Trump's ongoing critique of Biden's presidency.
As reported by the Western Journal, Trump has previously made similar remarks about Biden's ability to sleep. In March, during an interview with Fox News' Laura Ingraham, Trump stated, Well, the only thing I totally admired about Sleepy Joe Biden is the following: Hed go to a beach, hed lay down in a cot, barely able to get his feet through the sand, hed lay down, and within minutes hes sleeping and you have cameras watching him. Trump continued, I could never do that. I would never be able to sleep like that.
He concluded, Thats about the only thing that I think was wonderful.
On Friday, Trump's playful jab at Biden transitioned into a more serious critique of Biden's administration. According to the Daily Wire, Trump criticized the previous administration, saying, The previous administration I could go point after point, everything they did. Open borders, men playing in womens sports, transgender for everybody everybody, lets go transgender. What a group of people. They must have hated our country. This statement underscores Trump's disapproval of the policies enacted during Biden's tenure.
Earlier this month, Trump initiated a review of specific presidential actions taken during Biden's administration. The accompanying fact sheet for Trump's presidential memorandum aimed to uncover who ran the United States while President Biden was in office for four years.
The document claimed, Reports indicate that, for years, Biden suffered from serious cognitive decline. It further alleged, Bidens advisors severely restricted his news conferences and media appearances, scripting his conversations with lawmakers, government officials, and donors. The fact sheet also suggested that Bidens cognitive issues and apparent mental decline were reportedly even worse in private, with those closest to him attempting to conceal it from the public.
