Speaker Mike Johnson Urges Senate To Punish This Dem For What He Did!

In a recent incident that has stirred up controversy, California Senator Alex Padilla was forcibly removed from a press conference held by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

The Senator, who was not invited to the event, attempted to disrupt the proceedings, leading to his swift removal by Secret Service and FBI agents.

According to RedState, Padilla had intruded on the press conference in Los Angeles, where Secretary Noem was addressing the media about the ongoing riots in the city and the concurrent ICE immigration sweeps. "Noem reportedly was going to take questions after giving a statement, but apparently Padilla couldn't wait," wrote Sister Toldjah. Videos of the incident depict Padilla's aggressive behavior, which led to his forceful removal from the room.

The incident has sparked a wave of criticism from Democrats, who have expressed outrage over Padilla's treatment. However, Secretary Noem dismissed the incident as mere "political theater." Meanwhile, conservatives have expressed satisfaction over the incident, with some suggesting that Padilla's actions warrant disciplinary measures.

The question of disciplinary action was brought to Speaker Mike Johnson by Fox News' White House Correspondent Chad Pergram. In response, Johnson suggested that a Senate censure might be appropriate. "The Senate does its disciplinary actions over there, and we do ours over here. We have a certain set of measures, as you all know, and it ranges from censure, to removal from committees, to ultimately expulsion from the body," Johnson explained.

When asked if he supported such measures for Senator Padilla, Johnson responded, "It's not my decision to make, I'm not in that chamber, but I do think it merits immediate attention by other colleagues over there, and I think that that behavior at a minimum, it rises to the level of a censure."

The incident has added fuel to the political fire in California, which is already dealing with ongoing riots and a contentious relationship with the Trump administration. The state's Governor, Gavin Newsom, recently scored a judicial victory to block Trump's deployment of the National Guard, a move that has been met with mixed reactions.

As the political drama unfolds, it remains to be seen what consequences, if any, Senator Padilla will face for his actions. However, the incident serves as a stark reminder of the deep political divides that continue to shape the political landscape in California and across the nation.
