Fetterman Drops A Dos And Don'ts List After Torching LA Chaos

Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, a Democrat, has recently intensified his stance against violence, particularly in light of the "anarchy and true chaos" he observed in Los Angeles.

On Wednesday, he shared a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, outlining a "DO" and "DO NOT" list aimed at promoting peaceful activism. The post, titled "WIN THE ARGUMENT," advises against actions such as looting, setting fires, and assaulting law enforcement.

Instead, it encourages peaceful protest, electoral organization, and denouncing destructive behavior. The message was accompanied by an image depicting burning vehicles.

As reported by Fox News, Fetterman's message resonated across party lines, drawing support from Republican Senator Dave McCormick of Pennsylvania, who expressed his agreement by stating, "Well said, John," in a post on X. Fetterman's earlier remarks this week further emphasized his commitment to free speech and peaceful demonstrations, while condemning acts of violence.

"I unapologetically stand for free speech, peaceful demonstrations, and immigrationbut this is not that. This is anarchy and true chaos. My party loses the moral high ground when we refuse to condemn setting cars on fire, destroying buildings, and assaulting law enforcement," he asserted.

The bipartisan acknowledgment of Fetterman's stance extended to Republican Representative Paul Gosar of Arizona, who remarked, "I didn't have agreeing with Senator Fetterman on my bingo card today but he's not wrong."

This rare cross-party consensus highlights a shared concern over maintaining order and civility in public demonstrations. As political leaders navigate the complexities of civil unrest, Fetterman's call for peaceful activism underscores the importance of upholding law and order while advocating for change.
