In a shocking revelation, a recent investigation by TMZ has brought to light a theory suggesting that a fifth aircraft might have been targeted by the hijackers during the infamous terror attacks of September 11, 2001.
The focus of this theory is United Flight 23, with the flight crew expressing their belief to TMZ that their aircraft was potentially intended to be part of the devastating operation.
The crew members of United Flight 23 have shared their chilling experiences, with one of the pilots stating, Theres a good chance that somebody was plotting to try to use our airplane as a weapon of mass destruction.
The pilot's assertion is based on the discovery of box cutters under his seat, which he believes were intended to be used against him. He further stated, I believe that its a reasonable assumption to think that those box cutters were meant for my airplane, not the one next to me.
According to Western Journal, the pilot also highlighted the ease with which an individual could gain access to the aircraft, given the number of people involved in its preparation for flight.
He said, You have people that clean the airplane, people that load food on the airplane that have access to the airplane. If somebody was in cooperation with the group, they could have been put there. He further added, There are a host of people that have access to the airline. It wouldnt be the hardest thing in the world to get on an airplane like that. Something was going on there that should not have been going on.
Additional evidence supporting this theory includes the discovery of open floor hatches on the aircraft. A flight attendant recalled, The first thing [federal investigators] asked me [after the flight] was why the floor hatches were open on the airplane. The pilot added, The airplane was locked and sealed when I left the airplane, so something else was going on that I cannot explain.
The crew members also reported unusual behavior from four individuals in the first class, who were described as Arabs. These individuals were reportedly insistent on the flight taking off immediately, refusing to eat the food being served.
One of the flight attendants recounted, I could hear them say, We do not want to eat. We dont need food. We want to take off. We dont need food. We just want to go.' One of them also expressed an interest in seeing the cockpit.
Adding to the strangeness of the situation, one of these individuals was reportedly wearing a burka, a garment typically worn by women. However, the crew members were convinced that the individual was a man. A flight attendant stated, I did explain to our purser that I thought that that wasnt a woman, it was actually a man. I was absolutely convinced it was a man. There was no doubt in my mind it was a man.
The crew also reported that after the successful evacuation of the plane, baggage handlers and other ground staff observed two individuals running inside the aircraft. This new evidence, while not conclusive, adds another layer of complexity to the understanding of the tragic events of September 11, 2001.
