BREAKING NEWS: Kamala Finally Speaks On L.A. ChaosAnd Guess Who She Blames?!?!

The recent decision to deploy the National Guard to Los Angeles has sparked significant controversy, with former Vice President Kamala Harris labeling the move as a "dangerous escalation meant to provoke chaos."

Harris's remarks came in the wake of riots targeting U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents, who were enforcing immigration laws. Notably, Harris refrained from condemning the riots themselves, instead focusing her criticism on the Trump administration's response.

According to Breitbart, Harris, who unsuccessfully ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2024, broke her silence more than 30 hours after the unrest began. In a statement posted on X, she expressed her dismay at the situation in Los Angeles, her hometown.

"Deploying the National Guard is a dangerous escalation meant to provoke chaos," Harris stated. She further accused the Trump administration of pursuing a "cruel, calculated agenda to spread panic and division," citing recent ICE raids in Southern California and across the nation.

President Trump had issued a presidential memorandum deploying 2,000 National Guardsmen to address the violence. Harris criticized this action, asserting that the administration's motives were not centered on public safety but rather on "stoking fear."

She emphasized the importance of protest as a tool for justice, noting that demonstrations in support of immigrant communities have been "overwhelmingly peaceful," despite evidence of violence and vandalism circulating on social media.

The deployment has also drawn criticism from other prominent Democrats, including California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass. Both leaders have voiced their opposition to the federalization of the National Guard. Breitbart News Senior Editor-at-Large Joel Pollak reported that Mayor Bass described the move as a "chaotic escalation," highlighting the palpable fear within the community.

"The fear people are feeling in our city right now is very real its felt in our communities and within our families and it puts our neighborhoods at risk," Bass stated, urging protesters to maintain peace.

Governor Newsom echoed similar sentiments, characterizing the deployment as "purposefully inflammatory" and warning that it would "only escalate tensions." The situation in Los Angeles remains tense, with the deployment of the National Guard adding a new layer of complexity to the ongoing debate over immigration enforcement and public safety.

As the city grapples with these challenges, the broader implications for national policy and community relations continue to unfold.
