In a recent development, an illegal immigrant has been apprehended following another threat against President Donald Trump.

The arrest was announced by Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, who confirmed that the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) had detained Ramon Morales Reyes.

According to the Western Journal, Noem stated, Thanks to our ICE officers, this illegal alien who threatened to assassinate President Trump is behind bars. The ICE office received a threatening letter on May 21, allegedly from Reyes, expressing his discontent with the president's policies towards Mexicans.

The letter read, We are tired of this president messing with us Mexicans we have done more for this country than you white people you have been deporting my family and I think it is time Donald J. Trump get what he has coming to him.

Reyes' letter further stated, I will self deport myself back to Mexico but not before I use my 30 yard 6 to shoot your precious president in his head I will see him at one of his big rallies. The statement from Noem revealed that Reyes had illegally entered the U.S. at least nine times between 1998 and 2005.

His criminal record includes arrests for felony hit and run, criminal damage to property, and disorderly conduct with a domestic abuse modifier.

Currently, Reyes is being held in the Dodge County Jail in Juneau, Wisconsin, as he awaits deportation. Noem emphasized that this arrest should serve as a stern warning to anyone threatening the President. She also referred to former FBI Director James Comey, who recently posted a cryptic message on social media that was widely interpreted as a threat to Trump.

This threat comes not even a year after President Trump was shot in Butler, Pennsylvania, and less than two weeks after former FBI Director Comey called for the Presidents assassination, Noem said. She further urged politicians and media to take note of these repeated attempts on President Trumps life and moderate their rhetoric.

Comey's post, featuring seashells arranged to read 86 47, continues to irk Trump administration officials, as indicated by FBI Director Kash Patel in a recent interview with The Hill. Patel stated, You know, the FBI is bigger than any leader its ever had or ever will have, and added, But Ill just remind the American people of one thing. When that man was the leader of the FBI, he perpetrated the largest criminal conspiracy, packaged political information from overseas, took it to a federal FISA court and illegally surveilled a political opponent.

The announcement of Reyes's arrest follows closely on the heels of the detention of Joseph Neumeyer of Colorado by federal authorities. Neumeyer was deported from Israel following an incident involving explosive materials near the American embassy in Israel.

This defendant is charged with planning a devastating attack targeting our embassy in Israel, threatening death to Americans, and President Trumps life, Attorney General Pam Bondi said in a release. Neumeyer had allegedly threatened Trumps life in social media posts while residing outside the U.S.

These incidents underscore the importance of maintaining the security of our nation's leaders, and the need for responsible rhetoric in public discourse.

The actions taken by ICE and other federal authorities in these cases demonstrate their commitment to ensuring the safety of President Trump and the American people.
