AOC Comes Out SWINGING With Latest Campaign Pitch!

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), a prominent figure in the Democratic Party and a potential contender for the presidential primary, has reignited her campaign to dismantle the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

This federal agency is tasked with enforcing the nation's immigration laws, a role that Ocasio-Cortez has consistently challenged since her 2018 congressional victory. Her initial campaign platform included a promise to abolish ICE, advocating for what she termed a "right of passage" for illegal aliens into the United States.

According to Breitbart, Ocasio-Cortez had previously retreated from her "Abolish ICE" rhetoric after polling indicated that even a majority of Democrats were not in favor of eliminating the agency.

However, as she positions herself as a leading voice in the Democratic Party ahead of the 2027 presidential primary, the self-proclaimed "democratic socialist" has revived her calls to dismantle ICE. In a recent campaign email, she stated, "I believe that ICE, an agency that was just formed in 2003 during the Patriot Act era, is a rogue agency that should not exist," as reported by Business Insider.

The abolition of ICE would potentially release over a million illegal aliens, including many violent felons, from detention. This move would effectively dismantle the federal government's capacity to locate, arrest, and deport a significant portion of the estimated 11 to 22 million illegal aliens residing in the United States.

In a related development, border czar Tom Homan has indicated discussions with the Department of Justice regarding Ocasio-Cortez's actions. Homan criticized her for allegedly instructing illegal aliens on how to evade ICE agents, stating, "What shes doing, she says shes educating everybody on their constitutional rights but what shes really doing shes trying to teach them how to evade law enforcement."
