In a recent interview with the Washington Post, Musk shared his frustrations with the constant attacks on DOGE by bureaucrats and the establishment media. He stated, The federal bureaucracy situation is much worse than I realized, and expressed shock at the vehement opposition to DOGE's efforts to streamline the federal government.
Musk also voiced his concerns about the acts of vandalism and terrorism directed at his companies, stating, People were burning Teslas. Why would you do that? Thats really uncool. Despite the celebrations of Democrats, their media allies, and other leftists, Musk emphasized that his work with DOGE is far from over.
Musk, who was appointed as a special government employee at the head of DOGE, is limited to working no more than 130 days a year. Moving forward, he plans to focus DOGEs efforts on improving the federal bureaucracys computer systems. He stated, The effort will now be focused a bit more like tackling projects with the highest gain for the pain, which still means a lot of good things in terms of reducing waste and fraud.'"
