In a recent development, Rep. James Comer (R-KY), the Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, has issued a letter to Kevin OConnor, the physician to the Biden White House, demanding clarity on his medical evaluations of Biden and potential conflicts of interest.
The letter, sent on Thursday, calls for OConnor to participate in a transcribed deposition on June 25, 2025, to ensure his reports were not subject to any improper influence.
According to Gateway Pundit, the letter explicitly states, The Committee remains interested in whether your financial relationship with the Biden family affected your assessment of former President Bidens physical and mental fitness to fulfill his duties as President.
Given your connections with the Biden family, the Committee seeks to understand if you contributed to an effort to hide former President Bidens fitness to serve from the American people.
This move by Comer comes in the wake of several post-Biden scandals, including the autopen conspiracy, the belated mainstream media coverage of Bidens mental decline, Bidens interview with Special Counsel Robert Hur, and the recent revelation of Bidens cancer diagnosis.
Comer's letter further emphasizes the need for Congress to reconsider potential legislation addressing the oversight of presidents fitness to serve, in accordance with Section 4 of the Twenty-Fifth Amendment.
The Chairman points out that the Hur interview served as a startling reminder of the Presidents rapidly deteriorating mental and physical condition. He also assures that the tapes and newly reported concerns from Biden Cabinet officials will be examined by the Committee.
As reported by Gateway Pundit, Comer has identified five Biden aides who allegedly participated in the cover-up of Bidens mental decline and the autopen scandal. OConnor is among the five individuals from whom Comer has demanded testimony.
The list also includes former Director of Domestic Policy Council Neera Tanden, former Assistant to the President, Senior Advisor to First Lady Jill Biden Anthony Bernal, former Assistant to the President, former Deputy Chief of Staff Annie Tomasini, and former Special Assistant to the President and Deputy Director of Oval Office Operations Ashley Williams.
Intriguingly, White House visitor logs reveal that a specialist in Parkinsons disease visited the White House ten times between November 2022 and July 2024, including eight visits in eight months. O'Connor, however, has dismissed the implications of these visits, stating that the doctor was merely conducting "regular Neurology clinics at the White House Medical Clinic in support of the thousands of active-duty members assigned in support of White House operations."
He further claimed that the examination found no neurological disorders such as stroke, Parkinsons, or other impairments.
The Oversight Committee is expected to refer criminal charges to the Department of Justice, as many believe these individuals should face legal consequences. The letter concludes with a reminder of the Committee's broad authority to investigate 'any matter' at 'any time' under House Rule X and a request for OConnor to confirm his appearance for the transcribed interview by May 29, 2025.
