BREAKING NEWS: Ukraine Launches Strike Targeting Putins Helicopter In WILD Assassination Attempt!

In a bold move, Ukraine deployed drones in an effort to target a helicopter carrying Russian President Vladimir Putin over the Kursk region.

This incident underscores the ongoing tensions between the two nations, with the Kursk area, bordering Ukraine, having been under Ukrainian control since August.

As reported by Gateway Pundit, Russian Air Force Major-General Yuri Dashkin detailed the incident, stating that President Putin's helicopter found itself "virtually at the epicenter of repelling a large-scale attack by the enemys drones." Dashkin noted that 46 drones were successfully neutralized during the assault.

He elaborated, "During the period when the President [Putin] was working in the Kursk region, the enemy launched an unprecedented attack with unmanned aerial vehicles. The air defence group in this area destroyed 46 aircraft-type [Ukrainian military drones]."

Dashkin further emphasized the heightened intensity of the attack during the President's flight, asserting, "The task was accomplished. The attack of the enemy drones was repelled, and all air targets were hit."

The unannounced nature of Putin's visit to the conflict zone until his safe return suggests potential intelligence leaks to Ukraine. Historically, the Russian leader has steered clear of active combat areas throughout the three-year conflict.

According to the Associated Press, Russia's Defense Ministry cited Yaroslav Yakimkin from the "North" group of Russian forces, who claimed that Ukrainian forces have been pushed back from the Kursk border.

Yakimkin stated, "The troops continue to advance forward every day," highlighting recent Russian territorial gains in Ukraine's northeastern Sumy region and ongoing advances in the Kharkiv region near Vovchansk. This development reflects the persistent volatility and strategic maneuvers characterizing the conflict.
