During a recent appearance on Newsmax TV's "On the Record," Reverend Franklin Graham expressed his condolences for a couple tragically murdered by an alleged pro-Palestine suspect.
Graham took this opportunity to highlight the increasing prevalence of antisemitism in the United States, which he attributes to the growing influence of Islamic studies within American universities.
According to Breitbart, Graham articulated a straightforward message of the gospel, emphasizing the universal problem of sin. "The gospel message, Greta its simple," he stated.
"Its that God loves us, that he created us, and we have a problem, and that problem is sin. We saw that manifest itself there in Washington yesterday, as this couple was murdered." He further explained that the solution to sin lies in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, who "died and shed his blood on that cross" and was resurrected by God. Graham asserted that the world's only hope is for Christ to transform individual hearts.
Graham continued by sharing his personal experience of transformation through faith, recounting how he invited Jesus Christ into his life at the age of 22, which brought about a profound change. He underscored the need for prayer in addressing the growing antisemitism in the nation, linking it to substantial financial contributions to universities for Islamic studies. Graham criticized these centers as "fronts, really, for antisemitic messages to be taught to our young people."
In light of these concerns, Graham's remarks call for a reflection on the values being imparted to the younger generation and the potential impact on societal harmony. The conversation around antisemitism and its roots in educational institutions remains a critical issue, warranting further examination and dialogue.
