Joe Exotic's spouse, Jorge Marquez Flores, has been deported to Mexico following his release from a Texas prison.
Flores, 33, was moved to an ICE detention center shortly after his release and subsequently deported within hours, as confirmed by a representative for the incarcerated reality television figure, according to TMZ.
This development occurred a day after Joe Exotic revealed on social media that Flores had attended an immigration hearing to determine his eligibility to remain in the United States.
Earlier this year, Exotic expressed his admiration for Flores, stating, "Never been more proud of someone. Meet my husband, Jorge Flores Maldonado," following their prison wedding in April. The couple reportedly became engaged in October 2024, with Exotic frequently sharing updates about their relationship online.
As reported by the Daily Caller, Flores had been serving time for immigration-related offenses. Meanwhile, Joe Exotic, whose legal name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage, is currently serving a 21-year sentence for orchestrating a murder-for-hire plot against animal rights activist Carole Baskin, along with multiple wildlife violations.
