Greg Gutfeld Reveals How Trump EXPOSED Dirty TRICK Dems Use To 'TRY' To Keep Voters!

Fox News commentator Greg Gutfeld has recently criticized the Democratic Party's strategy, arguing that their reliance on virtue signaling has been used to manipulate voters.

He made these comments during a discussion on the potential outcomes of the 2026 midterm elections on the show "The Five."

According to the Daily Caller, Gutfeld questioned the credibility of the Democrats, saying, "Usually the outside party does. Its a question of whether anybodys going to believe anything you say, because everything you said the last four years was a lie." He was referring to the Democrats' promises and statements during the previous election cycle, particularly those made by President Joe Biden.

Gutfeld further elaborated on his critique of the Democrats' approach, stating, "You do those things as a virtue signal to give you permission to exploit people. People are suddenly realizing thats what the Democratic Party was." He suggested that the party's actions were primarily self-serving, aimed at elevating their own status rather than genuinely helping the people they claim to represent.

During the 2024 campaign, the Democrats made several attempts to appeal to specific demographics. For instance, Kamala Harris' campaign released a video featuring men affirming their support for women's rights. Additionally, a proposal called the "Opportunity Agenda for Black Men" was introduced, promising one million $20,000 loans to black entrepreneurs and others facing barriers to business growth.

Gutfeld criticized these efforts, saying, "All the virtues that they expressed were designed for their primary engine, which is the self. How can I elevate my status? How could I end up at the Met Gala?" He suggested that the Democrats' focus was inward, driven by status-seeking and envy, rather than looking outward to serve the broader community.

He further argued that the Democrats' approach was transactional, viewing everything through the lens of identity politics. "Trump smashed that thing to bits," Gutfeld said, referring to the former president's success in breaking away from identity-based politics.

Interestingly, despite the Democrats' targeted efforts during the 2024 campaign, Trump managed to gain significant support among black and Latino men. Reuters reported that the former president saw a 14-point increase among Hispanic voters nationally since 2020, and also made gains among black men in key swing states like North Carolina.

Post-election, the Democratic Party has faced challenges in rallying behind a unified leader and message. A CNN/SSRS poll released in March showed a record low favorability rating for the party, at just 29%. This suggests that the Democrats' strategy of virtue signaling and identity politics may not be resonating with voters as they had hoped, and could potentially impact their performance in the upcoming 2026 midterm elections.
