Illinois Governor J. B. Pritzker, a rising star among those opposing President Donald Trump and a potential Democratic candidate for the 2028 presidential race, recently appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
During the show, Pritzker became the subject of numerous jokes about his weight, a topic that has been a point of contention in political discourse.
As reported by Breitbart, Kimmel showcased a video clip of President Trump mocking Pritzker's weight, with Trump quipping, Hes too busy eating, he wants to eat all the time. Would like a hamburger? How many do you want? Five.
This imitation of the wealthy Hyatt hotel heir ordering food was met with laughter. Kimmel further teased, Well yeah, why are you ordering five burgers? Pritzker, attempting to deflect the humor, responded, He loves to make fun of people any way he can, and suggested, Frankly, thats how you know hes afraid of you.
The comedic exchange continued as Kimmel encouraged Pritzker to read potential nicknames Trump might use, such as JBLT, JB the Hut, JB Pritz His Pants, and JBackribs. Pritzker contributed his own suggestions, J Burger and J Beefy, with the latter being his favorite. Kimmel humorously concluded, But I think if we were to let America vote, I think JBackribs is going to win it.
Beyond the humor, Pritzker faces significant challenges should he pursue a presidential campaign. Despite his considerable wealth and political influence, his tenure as governor has been marred by controversies, including a past federal investigation for tax fraud involving property tax evasion. His political ascent, marked by substantial financial expenditure, raises questions about his ability to connect with the broader electorate and address the pressing issues facing the nation.
