In a recent appearance on MSNBC's "The Beat," Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) made bold accusations against President Donald Trump's administration, claiming that it is responsible for placing individuals in "concentration camps.
".
Crockett expressed her anticipation for upcoming oversight actions, emphasizing the need to counteract what she perceives as the administration's overreach.
According to Breitbart, Crockett stated, "Im looking forward to some of the things that were going to do on oversight as we continue to push back against this administration, now that we know that they are doing things such as snatching people off the streets and throwing them down in what I would consider to be concentration camps or prisons. These are people that havent been convicted of anything, and its wrong." She further highlighted the importance of oversight, particularly in relation to international agreements, such as those with El Salvador, to ensure human rights are not being violated.
Crockett also raised concerns about the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), noting, "Same thing with the FDA is theyre going out and theyre firing people, and we dont know what its impact is going to be as it relates to our food supply."
She questioned the transparency of the administration, particularly regarding the safety of the nation's food supply and the integrity of aviation safety, stating, "Same thing as it relates to the planes that are falling out of the sky. We need some real transparency, and we need some honesty." Crockett's remarks reflect a broader call for accountability and transparency, underscoring a belief that the administration's actions could have dire consequences for the American public.
