WATCH: Democrats Accused Of Gaslighting Grieving Mother Who Is Demanding Justice For Her Murdered Son...

A New York mother, Madeline Brame, whose son was killed in a Harlem brawl in 2018, recently criticized Democrats for their comments during a House Judiciary Committee hearing.

The hearing, organized by Chairman Jim Jordan, a Republican from Ohio, aimed to discuss the state of New York crime under District Attorney Alvin Bragg. Democrat representatives Daniel Goldman, Jerrold Nadler, and Adriano Espaillat, as well as Republican Elise Stefanik, were present at the hearing.

Brame claimed that Goldman accused Republicans of using the hearing to cover-up for former President Trumps defense. She then accused Bragg of mishandling a strong, trial-ready murder case involving her sons murder. She suggested that the case was solid under Cy Vance Jr., Braggs predecessor, but rapidly deteriorated under the Soros-backed prosecutor after Vance left office. Brame said that Braggs office lacked the resources to prosecute all defendants and eventually dropped murder and gang assault indictments against two individuals, one of whom is currently walking the street after viciously attacking both her son and his father.

During the hearing, Brame expressed her dissatisfaction with Goldmans remarks, which she claimed insulted her intelligence. She lambasted Democrats criticizing the hearings premise, specifically citing Rep. Hank Johnson of Georgia, who called Brame and her fellow witnesses props in a MAGA Broadway production. Hannity further reported that Nadler and Adam Schiff of California also criticized the hearing.

Brame challenged Johnson, who she called a rich Black man who had no understanding of the plight of minority neighborhoods, to step one foot in the hood. She argued that her concerns were not just for her loss but for all real people affected by the mishandling of the murder case. Brame alleged that all the elected officials, especially those running New York, lack consideration for people like her, emphasizing that real people are affected by this.

Brames son, U.S. Army Sgt. Hason Correa, and his father, Wesley Correa, were brutally stabbed to death in 2018 in the lobby of a Harlem apartment building. Four men, all reportedly brothers, were initially charged with murder and gang assault. However, under Braggs tenure, the case crumbled. The prosecutors office dropped all charges against two defendants, leaving one free to roam the streets after viciously attacking Brames son and his father.

Brames testimony highlights the challenges that families of victims face in seeking justice within an already complex and opaque criminal justice system. Her testimony also reveals the difficulty of achieving meaningful discourse on issues without degenerating into political gamesmanship.
