In a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Representative Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) did not shy away from challenging President Donald Trump to an IQ test.
When prompted by host Jimmy Kimmel, who mentioned Trump's previous comments about her intelligence, Crockett confidently declared she would "absolutely" take the test against the President. This exchange highlights the ongoing tension between Crockett and Trump, stemming from past remarks made by both parties.
According to Breitbart, the friction between Crockett and Trump began when the President labeled her as "a very low IQ person" during a March interview with radio host Vince Coglianese. This was in response to Crockett's controversial comments about Texas Governor Greg Abbott, whom she referred to as "Governor Hot Wheels" due to his paralysis.
Crockett later attempted to clarify her statement, suggesting she was alluding to the transportation methods used by Abbott to relocate illegal migrants from Texas. Trump, however, dismissed her explanation, stating, "Its a lie, and she lies," and further criticized her as "a low life" and "a very low IQ person."
During the Kimmel interview, the host also inquired whether Crockett had ever met Trump, to which she replied in the negative. Kimmel humorously speculated that Trump might have an interest in Crockett, noting, "I feel like he likes you."
He suggested that Trump's attention might be drawn to individuals who are "aggressive and funny," and played a clip of Trump speaking at a National Republican Congressional Committee dinner. In the video, Trump questioned the Democratic Party's decision to elevate Crockett, saying, "How about this new one they have? Their new star, Crockett? How about her? Are they serious about that? Thats their new star? If thats their new star, theyre in serious trouble."
