WATCH The Panic In The Streets Of Chicago As HUNDREDS Of Teenagers Run Wild

Several hundred teenagers caused chaos in downtown Chicago on Saturday night, as they smashed car windows, attacked bystanders, and fired guns, according to Fox News.

The scene, which left panicked tourists running for cover, was captured by Fox 32 cameras.

As police struggled to regain control of the situation, large groups of teens were seen blasting music from Bluetooth speakers, spilling onto the streets, and attempting to gain access to Millennium Park and the downtown Art Institute. Some of the teens in the group began jumping up and down on cars, smashing windows, and attacking people inside.

One witness, a Chicago native, questioned the role of the teenagers' parents in the unruly scene. "Where are their parents at, that's my question," she told Fox 32.

Police responded to the situation with hundreds of officers and SWAT teams, with multiple reports of gunfire adding to the chaos. Tourists were escorted back to their cars or hotels by police, as traffic on Chicago's Michigan Avenue ground to a halt.

Two people were shot during the incident, including a 6-year-old boy who was shot in the arm near the Chicago Loop, and a 17-year-old boy who was shot in the leg. Both were taken to Northwestern Hospital and are listed in fair condition.

Fox 32 reported that the chaos appeared to be another "Teen Takeover" of the city that was planned on social media, noting a similar scene played out in Chicago last year.

"I understand kids having a good time but this is simply bad parenting," the Chicago native witness told Fox 32. "We have to do better as parents. Our kids should not be out here."

Chicago Police have yet to issue a statement on the incident in response to Fox News' request for comment.
