During a segment on Fox News Channel's "Ingraham Angle" aired Thursday, Attorney General Pam Bondi made a compelling case for Congress to remain in session until all of President Donald Trump's nominees are confirmed.

The discussion, led by host Laura Ingraham, centered on the urgency of filling key governmental positions that remain vacant.

As reported by Breitbart, Ingraham posed a critical question to Bondi, asking, "What is your message tonight to Congress, specifically members of the U.S. Senate and House, but who Republicans and Democrats, who like to leave town on Thursday night, tonight? And they leave and theyre going to be gone for two weeks in April, when you still have a lot of key people not in top positions. What is your message to them tonight? Bondi's response was unequivocal: "We need these people, of course."

The conversation highlighted the importance of confirming President Trump's nominees, with Ingraham questioning the wisdom of a two-week congressional recess. Bondi firmly stated, "Of course not. Laura, we need to get all of Donald Trump needs all of his nominees to be confirmed, to be in office, for public safety reasons, for all of the reasons weve been talking about. There are so many nominees that we have to get confirmed. We have a lot coming up, and weve got to get them in office to help keep Americans safe."

Bondi also praised Senate Majority Leader Sen. John Thune (R-SD) for his efforts, noting, "Sen. Thunes been great. Hes been fabulous. But weve got to keep people here. Weve got to get people in office." Her comments underscore the necessity of a fully staffed administration to ensure the safety and efficiency of government operations.
