NFL superstar Aaron Rodgers causes a lot of controversies related to the political statements and endorsements he makes occasionally.
Rodgers has made another controversial endorsement by supporting Robert Kennedy Jr.s presidential run in 2024.
He posted his support via a social media post with many people who found his comments and reactions quite strange in this case. According to the New York Post, he put the center out with hearts and muscle biceps emoji symbols.
He made the endorsement on the vaccine skeptic Aubrey Marcus podcast. Marcus is a Democrat. Aaron Rodgers decided that this would be his platform to make the endorsement.
RFK Jr. filed the paperwork with the Federal Election Commission to run for President in 2024 against President Biden. He will be running as a Democrat and challenging the President for the nomination. According to reporting by the New York Post, Aaron Rodgers is in the middle of his contract negotiations with various NFL teams.
If he can pull it off, he is working on getting himself transferred to the New York Jets. Rodgers has continued to find himself mired in controversy over the years because of statements he has made about the COVID vaccine in the past. Therefore, it is not without surprise that many people are just not pleased by what Rodgers is doing to make an endorsement of a candidate for President who isnt Joe Biden.
The quarterback has claimed to be allergic to the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines and sought alternative treatments to protect himself from COVID. He said he did not want to get the Johnson and Johnson vaccine because of the risk of side effects. RFK Jr. is the son of 1968 Presidential candidate and Senator Robert Kennedy. RFK Jr. was kicked off Instagram in February 2021 for allegedly spreading misinformation about COVID and vaccines.
