Maxine Waters Better Check Herself Before She Wrecks Herself!

In a recent call to action, Representative Maxine Waters (D., Calif.) urged her Democratic colleagues to take to the streets in an effort to sway the judiciary in their ongoing battle against former President Donald Trump.

"We can fight back against Trump and co-president Elon Musk. We can influence the courts," Waters declared on X. "How do we do that? We hit the streets and fight back. If we fight, we can win."

According to The Washington Free Beacon, Waters, now 86, has a history of making incendiary remarks against Republicans. During Trump's initial term in 2017, she famously told a crowd she would "go and take Trump out tonight." The following year, she encouraged her supporters to confront and harass officials from the Trump administration.

"If you see anybody from that cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd," she proclaimed at a 2018 rally in Los Angeles. "You push back on them, and you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere." Waters later attempted to clarify her statements, asserting, "I did not threaten [Trump] constituents and supporters. I do that all the time, but I didn't do that that time."

Beyond her controversial rhetoric, Waters has faced scrutiny over her financial dealings. In the 2022 election cycle, she directed nearly $200,000 in campaign funds to her daughter, a continuation of a long-standing financial arrangement between the two, as reported by The Washington Free Beacon.

This practice has raised questions about ethical standards and accountability within her political operations. Waters' actions and statements continue to spark debate, highlighting the ongoing tensions in American political discourse.
