'The Five' Audibly Gasps As Dem Strategist Cheers On Tim Walz For THIS...

During a recent episode of Fox's "The Five," the panel expressed visible surprise when Democratic strategist Jessica Tarlov remarked that it is beneficial for former Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Tim Walz to re-engage with the media.

Walz had announced on X that he would be embarking on a U.S. town hall tour, focusing on red districts. This move comes after his unsuccessful campaign against President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance. Fox host Jesse Watters played a clip of Walz asserting that Democrats are "offering them something better" and sought Tarlov's perspective on Walz's renewed public presence.

According to the Daily Caller, Watters inquired, "All right, so whats going on, Jessica?" as other panelists echoed his curiosity. Tarlov responded, "I think its good that Tim Walz is out there." Her statement prompted Watters to ask, "Really?" as the panelists expressed their astonishment. Tarlov elaborated, "Its better than not confronting it, and hes taking responsibility, which people were asking for. They wanted Biden to take responsibility."

Walz, who was chosen by former Vice President Kamala Harris as her running mate in August 2024, faced intense scrutiny over allegations of "stolen valor." These claims suggested he abandoned his battalion in 2005 to avoid deployment to Iraq. Additionally, Walz was accused of dishonesty regarding his whereabouts during the Tiananmen Square massacre, claiming he was in Hong Kong at the time.

Following Trump's victory in November, post-election analysis revealed that Harris garnered 7 million fewer votes than former President Joe Biden in 2020, and she failed to match Trump's gains, as reported by the New York Times. The Harris-Walz ticket fell short in three of the seven pivotal swing states and lost in 80% of counties, resulting in a significant setback for their party among key voting demographics.
