Casey Anthony, once at the center of a high-profile murder trial, has taken on a new role as a civil rights advocate, positioning herself against former President Donald Trump.

In a recent TikTok video, Anthony introduced herself as a "legal advocate" and "researcher," emphasizing her commitment to advocacy since her involvement in the legal field began in 2011. "This is my first of probably many recordings on a series I am starting," she declared. "I am a legal advocate. I am a researcher. I have been in the legal field since 2011, and in this capacity, I feel that its necessary if Im going to continue to operate appropriately as a legal advocate that I start to advocate for myself and also advocate for my daughter."

The video serves as a reintroduction for Anthony, who was acquitted in the death of her two-year-old daughter, Caylee, in a case that captivated the nation. As reported by Breitbart, Anthony's new mission includes championing causes such as LGBTQ rights and women's rights. "As a proponent for the LGBTQ community, for our legal community, womens rights, I feel that its important that I use this platform that was thrust upon me and now look at as a blessing as opposed to the curse that it has been since 2008," she stated in her three-minute video.

Anthony's daughter, Caylee, was reported missing in 2008, and her remains were later discovered in a laundry bag, leading to Anthony's arrest and subsequent trial. Despite being acquitted of first-degree murder, Anthony's actions during the investigation, including providing false information to police and engaging in nightlife activities, drew significant public scrutiny.

A friend of Anthony's, speaking to the New York Post, shed light on her motivations for this new path, highlighting her opposition to Trump. "Shes appalled. She wants to speak up for many people who dont have a voice," the friend explained. "Shes got a lot of friends in the gay community, and she wants to use their influence to help. Shes got a voice and maybe she can stand up for other people." The friend further noted, "She wants to fight Trump. She figures she can either be angry, or she can be a Trump hating advocate for others. Shell use her influence to resist."

Interestingly, Anthony chose to disable comments on her TikTok video, a decision her friend attributed to a desire to avoid "flame wars" with detractors. "This is her platform, her space to say her piece. You can either watch, or you can move along. This is about what she wants to say," the friend remarked.

Anthony's recent activities have not gone unnoticed, as she also made headlines for reportedly dating a married man, which allegedly led to the dissolution of his marriage. Her reemergence into the public eye has been met with mixed reactions, with neither the conservative platform X nor the more progressive Blue Sky offering her a particularly warm welcome.
