You've Been DOGE'd! Government Employees Now Have To Do THIS Every Week...

The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) has issued a follow-up email to federal employees, seeking a weekly account of their accomplishments.

Employees are required to submit their responses by 11:59 p.m. each Monday, detailing their weekly achievements in a five-bullet-point format.

As reported by The Post Millennial, the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) dispatched this email with the subject line, "What did you do last week? Part II," building on a previous request for similar information.

While the initial email seemed to be a one-time inquiry, the latest communication establishes a recurring requirement for federal workers to report their weekly activities. It also emphasizes that no classified information should be included in these reports. Employees engaged in sensitive tasks are instructed to simply state, "All of my activities are sensitive."

Elon Musk, a prominent figure in the tech industry, commented on the directive via X, stating, "The President has made it clear that this is mandatory for the executive branch." He further clarified that even those handling classified or sensitive matters must respond to the email, albeit with a note indicating the sensitive nature of their work.

Musk characterized the initial email from DOGE as a "pulse check" rather than a performance evaluation. He remarked, "I think that email was perhaps interpreted as a performance review, but actually it was a pulse check review. Do you have a pulse?" He added, "And if you have a pulse and two neurons, you could reply to an email." This initiative reflects a broader effort to enhance accountability and transparency within the federal workforce, aligning with conservative principles of efficient governance and individual responsibility.
