On a recent Tuesday, Whoopi Goldberg, the moderator of ABC's show "The View," seemed to be on the brink of a meltdown.
Her dramatic performance, which teetered on the edge of comedy, was centered around Elon Musk's SpaceX contracts with NASA.
Goldberg's tirade, which was riddled with misunderstandings and misinterpretations, was a spectacle to behold.
According to RedState, Goldberg began her tirade by blaming the Delta airliner crash in Toronto on President Donald Trump, Musk, and the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). She said, "I have been panicking over all this insanity with these planes! You know? And there's all kinds of stuff going on. Like, so let's start with the string of mass firings by Elon Musk's dodge Doege? Dogge?" She continued to express her confusion and fear, stating that Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy is defending the firing of 400 FAA workers.
Goldberg's confusion didn't stop there. She questioned when she had asked for an additional agency next to NASA and why she was paying for it. She exclaimed, "I don't remember looking for an armored car! I don't remember asking for it, I don't know why I'm paying for it. I want to know when did I say, Hey, we need another agency next to NASA! So, when did we start paying for his stuff?!" Goldberg added, "You are paying for everything he sends up that comes back down that falls back down and breaks up. That's out of our pockets."
Goldberg's tirade raises several questions. When did we start paying for circumcisions in Mozambique? When did we start funding "biodiversity conversations" in Nepal? When did we start financing "social cohesion" in Mali? These questions highlight the billions of U.S. taxpayer money spent on Democrat-approved programs, which DOGE continues to uncover.
In contrast to Goldberg's theatrics, President Trump and Elon Musk had an extensive Oval Office interview with veteran Fox News host Sean Hannity. The exchanges were both substantive and humorous, as the two discussed their efforts to serve the American people. Trump repeatedly expressed his admiration for Musk's intelligence during the interview.
The interview was a welcome change from the histrionic meltdowns Democrats across America have been having over DOGE's actions. These reactions, from the halls of Congress to social media, are in response to DOGE doing exactly what voters overwhelmingly said they wanted in the November general election.
